Time saving tip! Use map making paper when you make paper cut stencils.

p1010942I love to make paper stencils for silkscreening and when the craft gurus at The Martha Stewart Show told me about reusable paper I couldn’t believe it. I always assumed my paper stencils were one use only. But when I was preparing the paper stencils for my screen print segments for the show they told me about map paper. I said “huh“? Turns out there is waterproof tear resistant paper specifically designed to be printed frm an ink-jet printer for maps. The crafters at The MS Show (who are fabulous people btw) use it all the time for their stencil projects. Just print it out and cut. You’ll find it easy to cut. Just wash and and let dry for your next use.
